Obituary

Willis Ancell, 50, of 2214 S. 12th, died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home. The police ambulance and fire department, inhalator squad were summoned at 9:51 a.m. but he was pronounced dead on arrival of a doctor.
He was born March 20, 1908 at New Canton, Il., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis E. Ancell. On Sept. 30, 1939 he was married to Mary Harmon in Burlington. Ancell was a millworker for the Embalming Burial Case Co. and was a member of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife: four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Prince and Mrs. Ruby Oge, both of Burlington,
Mrs Mary Roe, White Bear, Wis., and Mrs. Nadine Duke, Peoria, Il., and a brother, Roy Ancell, Leighton. His parents and a brother are dead.
The body is at the Giles funeral home.
