Roy F. Fitzpatrick, 57, 2004 Summer, died at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Memorial hospital after being stricken at work. He was born May 27, 1915, in Burlington, the son of Joseph and Edith Beneke Fitzpatrick. He married Loretta Bowling in Kahoka, Mo. Feb 10, 1940. He was a maintenance employe at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, a charter member of Iron Workers local 577, and an Eagles member. Surviving: The wife; one son, Michael, Burlington; four grandchildren; one brother, Howard, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Coleman, Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Aspen Grove cemetery, Rev. Donald Klohr. The body is at Prugh chapel.
