Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Giles Funeral home for Wayne P. Fitzgerald, 45, 110 Melrose Court, who shot himself in his home on New Year's Day. He was born Aug. 14, 1915, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Fitzgerald in Roseville, Ill. He married Vera Louisa Belknap in Kahoka, Mo., in 1946. She died Dec. 1, 1960. Survivors include a stepson Robert Gann, Oakville: a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lula Belle Ibbotson, Columbus Junction; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Wagner, Burlington; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The Rev. Z.L. Patton will officiate with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
