Obituary
Mr. Amenell was born Aug. 4, 1908 at Corydon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Amenell. He married Lucile Bretage Oct. 2, 1933 at St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of First United Church of Christ and a former member of the Consistory of the church, Des Moines Lodge No 1 AF & AM, UCT and Elks Club.
Surviving: The wife; two sons, David, Burlington, and Capt. Thomas Amenell, serving in Vietnam: his parents, Millerton, IOwa and one grandson.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday, First United Church of Christ; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established at the church.
