Dean William Fenton, 31 of Burlington, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, at his home. Born July 7, 1971, in Burlington, he was the son of Don and Joyce I. Birwinkle Fenton. Mr. Fenton graduated from Burlington High School in 1989. He operated Fenton's Sales and Pawn Shop with his father. He was a member of D & R Amusement Pool League and Ducks Unlimited. He loved baseball, NASCAR racing, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his father; three brothers, Donald D. Fenton and Doug A. Fenton, both of Burlington, Dewayne P. Fenton of Lebanon, Mo.; and his maternal grandmother, Hattie Newby of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents. Visitation will begin after noon today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service for Mr. Fenton will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Rose officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Ducks Unlimited.
