David M. Farnett, 53, of Lot 58, Elms Trailer Court, Middletown, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 1989, at University Hospitals, Iowa City. Born Sept. 10, 1936, at Syracuse, N.Y. he was the son of Michael A. and Erma Sandness DiGennaro Farnett. He married Nancy Robinson Farnett May 17, 1958 at Cortland, N.Y. He had been a baker at Sweetheart and Aldi's before retiring. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; one son, Michael Farnett, Burlington; two daughters, Dolly Waite and Laurie Brinton, both of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Sandra White, Burlington, and Suzette McCall, Hendersonville, N.C. and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The service for Mr. Farnett will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel with Jesse White officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
