Alvin C. Erickson, 84, of 522 S. Starr, died in Burlington Medical Center at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, April 18. He was born Jan.21, 1901, at Toronto, S.D. to Martin G. and Anna Emily Rock Erickson. He married Ethel B. STreeter Aug. 29, 1929, in Sioux Falls, S.D. Mr. Erickson operated Erickson Refrigeration Service for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving: His wife; a son, Clifford, of California; two daughters, Juanita menner and Helen Little, both of Burlington; two sisters, Evelyn mcKeown and Gladys Wilaby, both of Brookings, S.D.; six grandchildren and four great grand children. Funeral 3 p.m.Monday in Prugh's Chapel, the Rev. Edwin J. SImon; ASpen Grove Cemetery. A memorial to First Baptist Church has been established.
