Funeral for Ervin Floyd Ellerhoff, 83, Rt. 1, who died at his home Wednesday, Feb. 13, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Alton Koengeter; Aspen Grove Cemetery. He was born Feb. 13, 1901, at West Burlington, to Federick Carl and Clara Pauline Mabeus Ellerhoff. He married Charlene Pfeiffer on June 24, 1925; she died July 4, 1978. Mr. Ellerhoff was a retired telegrapher for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad and Railway Express. He was a member of the Telegraphers Association. Surviving: A son, Roy Ellerhoff, Hedrick; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Stella Long, San Antonio, Texas.
