Margaret Louise Edwards, 88, of Burlington, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Burlington. Born February 1, 1919, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of John and Teresa Herr Lawlor. On May 2, 1937, she married Raymond F. Edwards in Kahoka, MO. He died July 19, 1974. Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker. She was affiliated with the Protestant Church. She enjoyed bingo and gambling. Survivors include one son, Gary Edwards of Carman, IL; seven grandchildlren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter and one son. No formal services are planned. The body has been cremated.
