Raymond F. Edwards, 61, of 1123 Franklin, died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 8:15 p.m. Friday, July 19. Mr. Edwards was an engineer for Burlington Northern Railroad. He was the son of Raymond O. and Barbara Buderis Edwards, and was born May 23, 1913, in Burlington. He was married to Margaret L. Lawlor at KAhoka, Mo., on May 2, 1937. Mr. Edwards was a member of the Eagles lodge and of the UTU, BLE and BLE. Surviving: The wife; two sons, David L. Edwards, Gladstone, Ill.; and Gary J. Edwards, Burlington; daughter Barbara Johnson, Burlington; and six grandchildren. The body will be creamated and teh ashes will be interred in Aspen Grove cemetery on a date to be announced.
