Joseph L. Allison, 80 of 800 N. Third St., Apt 4, Burlington, died at 10:25 p.m., Wednesday, Feb 7, 1996 at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Nov 17, 1915, in Centerville, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Allison Sr. He married Catherine O. Clemens on Aug. 21, 1941 in Centerville.
Mr. Allison was a graduate of Centerville High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from the Iowa Army Ammunution Plant, where he worked in the purchasing department.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Burlington Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife and one sister, Marjorie Jones of Centerville.
He was preceded indeath by his parents and one sister. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today i Lunning Chapel There will be no famiy visitation.
The funeral for Mr. Allison will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. David Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Apen Grove Cemetery.
