Henry E. Ebert, 75, of 1225 N. Seventh St., died Sunday, June 12, 1988, at University Hospitals, Iowa City. Born May 20, 1913, in Burlington, he was the son of George Henry and Lillian Ohl Ebert. He worked for Ebert Supply and Ewingers Supply Co. before retiring. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, the Des Moines Masonic Lodge, U.C.T. and North End Boating Association. Surviving are one brother, William Ebert, Route 3, Burlington; and a nephew and a niece. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel. The service for Mr. Ebert be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Chris Hansen. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Bethany Lutheran Church.
