Burlington native Bruce Stockdale, 66, Amarillo, Texas died there Tuesday, June 3. He was born May 25, 1915, to Sidney and Anna Rolf Stockdale. He was an Army veteran and worked in the shipping department of Levi Strauss Co. Surviving: son Terry, Temple, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Gene Hollingsworth, San Jose, Calif. and Mrs. John Varnar, Abilene, Texas; two brothers, James and Forrest, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Angiemier, San Mateo, Calif., and Mrs Donald Hock, Racine, Wis.; four grandchildren. Committal: 1 p.m. Saturday, Aspen Grove cemetery. Dr. Bruce R. Pullen. The body will arrive at Lunning chapel Friday afternoon.
