Russell Lee Allen, 39, Oakville, died of cancer at his home Wednesday, June 9. He was born Aug. 4, 1942, at LaHArpe, IL to Floyd D. and Hazel M. Sheperd Allen. He married Linda J. Basquin April 23, 1966, in Burlington.
A retired truck driver, he served in the Army from 1966 to1968 and was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving: The wife; his parents, Floyd D. Allen and Hazel M. Wagner, both of Burlington; four brothers, Delbert, in military service, and K.E. (Doak), Fred and Dan, and two sisters, Helen L. Mondorf and Leona Skelton, all of Burlington.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Burlington, the Rev. C.L. Boston; ASpen Grove Cemetery with military rites by the Oakville American Legion Post.
