Anita Mae Eagle, 72, of Burlington died at 8:01 A.M. Thursday, January 19, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born April 16, 1933, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Herbert M. Sr. and Alice Helen Eilers Dunn. On September 10, 1960, she married Gene J. Eagle in Burlington. Mrs. Eagle was a school teacher. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed art, painting, drawing, sculpture, fine arts and drama. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Claire Nilson of San Rafael, California and Sandra Eagle of Los Osos, California; two sisters, Polly Ann Haerer of Dallas, Texas and Nancy Jane Dunn of Burlington; one brother, James Dunn of Washington; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
