Irma Jean Diviney Lupini, 85, formerly of Bettendorf, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Stonefield Assisted Living in McKinney, Texas. Born in 1929, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Nellie and Louis Dunlavy. On Dec. 19, 1948, she married Cleve Diviney. He died March 23, 1995. On July 26, 1997, she married Frank Lupini in Davenport. He died Dec. 25, 2011. Mrs. Diviney Lupini worked for First National Bank in Iowa City and Davenport Bank and Trust.
She spent her childhood in Mount Pleasant and Cherokee before moving to Burlington.
She was a 1947 graduate of Burlington High School. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Burlington and Davenport, and in earlier years was a member of Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed her church and family, sewing and volunteering.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel Diviney of Tracy, Calif., Mark Diviney of Inman, S.C., and Brian Diviney of McKinney, Texas; one stepdaughter, Judith Lockhart of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Services for Mrs. Diviney Lupini will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Davenport.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society and Amity Hospice in Plano, Texas
