Wilfred Ivan Dietsch, 69, West Burlngton, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, in Milan, Ill. Born May 31, 1930, in Burlington, he was the son of Dewey and Lena Moyers Dietsch. On May 13, 1956, he married Elaine Ruth Livingston in West Burlington. She died Dec. 5, 1998. Mr. Dietsch served in the Army from 1959 to 1963. He retired as a pipefitter and plumber from the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. He was of the Protestant faith, and a member of the Eagles, the Moose, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include one sister, Geraldine Large of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, Loyd Dietsch of Burlington, and Alfred Dietsch of Milan, Ill.; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The graveside committal service for Mr. Dietsch will be at 11 a.m.Monday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. David Mixon officiating.
