Harry M. Alderman, 79, 916 Oak, died Monday, Jan. 29, at Memorial hospital.
He was born Apr 3, 1893, in Huntington, W.V. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Alderman. He married Ethel Walker on July 17, 1961, in Burlington. He was a retired Burlington Railroad employee.
Surviving: The wife; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Moulen, St. Petersburg, FL; one stepdaughter, mrs. Linda Dutton, Burlington; two stepsons, Ronald and Raymond Walker, both of Burlington; four half-sisters, Mrs. Sadie Hughes and Mrs. Gladys, Chicago, Mrs. Lou Hooper and Mrs. Nettie Jones, Ohio; five half-brothers, Fred Mays, CA, Gene and Albert Mays, Ohio, Charles Mays, Florida, Raymond Alderman, Il and three stepp-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Sheagren funeral home, Rev. John Ziegler; Aspen Grove cemetery.
