Hazel Dideriksen Trickler, 87, of Burlington died at 2:35 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2008, at Great River Medical Center's Klein Center in Burlington. Born August 5, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harry and Jessie Sattler Dodd. On May 15, 1941, she married Orville O. Dideriksen in Kahoka, MO. He died September 23, 1984. On February 9, 1991, she married Ralph Trickler in Burlington. He died June 30, 2005. Mrs. Trickler was a homemaker. She worked at Sylvania, Iowa Army Ammunition Plant and General Electric. She was a 1940 Burlington High School graduate. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed flowers and cooking. Survivors include four sons, Larry Dideriksen, Tony Dideriksen and Mike Dideriksen, all of Burlington, and Bill Dideriksen of Mediapolis; one daughter, Linda Rehman of Burlington; two stepsons, Ralph G. Trickler of Hot Springs Villaage, Ark., and James E. Trickler of Lomax, IL; one stepdaughter, Sharon K. Hicks of San Dimas, Calif.; 12 Grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Tess Bergquist of Burlington. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, one grandchild and one brother. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Trickler will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Memorials have been established for King's Daughters Home and Great River Medical Center's Klein Center.
