Mrs. Debra Lynn Bouge, 59, of Burlington died at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born December 23, 1956 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Jesse and Charlotte Jane (Falk) Edwards. On June 24, 1989 she married David D. Bouge in Burlington.
Mrs. Bouge was a 1975 graduate of Burlington High School. She worked in the jewelry department of Merco's and as a receptionist for Dr. Paragas and Dr. Taylor. She was of the protestant faith and enjoyed gardening, crafts, decorating for the seasons and holidays, Hobby Lobby and the QVC shopping network. Her family was her pride and joy.
Survivors include her husband, David Bouge of Burlington; two sons, David "DJ" Bouge of Burlington and Dylan Bouge of Webster City; her father, Jesse Edwards of Burlington; one sister, Patty (Jay) Smith of West Burlington; one step sister, Dana Tucker of Dallas City, Illinois; one step brother, Kirk Edwards of Mt. Pleasant; two nephews, Jesse (Rachel) Smith and Nick Smith both of Burlington; one great niece, Charlotte Smith of Burlington; and one great nephew, Brantley Smith of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Friends may call from, noon until 7 p.m. Friday, September 23rd, at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m.
The funeral service for Mrs. Bouge will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 24th, at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for the University of Iowa Bone Marrow Transplant Program or PAW Fort Madison Animal Shelter.
