Kimberly Sue Diamond, 48, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Burlington passed away at 12:50 PM, Saturday, June 24, 2006, at the Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Born August 8, 1957, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harry and Judith Ann "Jazzy Judy" Young Thompson. Mrs. Diamond was a homemaker. She was a PTA mom, an Avon and Partylite representative, a day care coordinator, a member of the Pensacola Eastern Star, and a member of the crew of the bananimals. She has been a resident of Pensacola, FL for the last 30 years. She graduated from Burlington High School. She was an avid pet lover and a friend to many. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her father, Harry Thompson of Burlington; fiancé, Bill Huggins of Pensacola, FL; two sons, Fallon Young Mackey and Seth Hartleroad both of Pensacola, FL; four daughters, Angel Mackey, Nechaun Eccles, Ashley Diamond, and Stacy Vaughn all of Pensacola; 5 grandchildren, Erica, Breanna, Arianna, Madison, and Seth Jr; one brother, Jeff Thompson of Augusta, two sisters, Becky Thompson of Burlington, and Pam Moore of Burlington; and one cousin, Pam McCallister of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, and one aunt There will be no visitation. The Graveside Committal Service and Interment for Mrs. Diamond will be 1:00 PM, Monday, July 3rd, at the Aspen Grove Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Gary L. Chapman officiating. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society. "The only impact you can make in someone's life is the time you spend with them."
