Obituary
Vera Ilene DeVolder, 93, of
Montrose, Colo., formerly of
Burlington, died Friday, Jan. 17,
2014.
Ms. DeVolder was born Nov. 24,
1920.
Ms. DeVolder was a member of First
Church of the Nazarene. She
enjoyed traveling. She moved to
Lubbock, Texas, for five years, and she spent the last
three years living in Montrose, Colo.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Mathias of Terra
Haute, Ind., and Jerry Delashmutt of Lubbock, Texas;
two daughters, Carol Colopy of Montrose, Colo., and
Julie Reel of Lake City, Colo.; and grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Burlington. The body has been
cremated.
Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose, Colo., is assisting with arrangements.
