Darleine Junella "Dolly" Dehner, 81, of Burlington died at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born October 18, 1925, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Elder and Flossie Hanson Mattson. On May 11, 1943, she married Ralph Dehner in Kahoka, Missouri. She retired after 20 years in production at IRC/TRW. She was an active donor for the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Bank. She belonged to the Bernina Club. She enjoyed her family, friends, animals and birds. She enjoyed socializing and made sure no one was ever a stranger to her. Survivors include her husband; one son, Keith Dehner of Burlington; one daughter, Dayle (Richard) Dieffenbach of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; Kristen (Chris Baker) Dieffenbach, David Dieffenbach, Kenneth (Bess) Dieffenbach, Ryan Dehner, Carrie Dehner, and Alex Dehner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy, and six brother, Bill Mattson, Rudy Mattson, Leonard Mattson, Ed Mattson, Ken Mattson and Dick Mattson. Rev. Tom Smith will officiate, with burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established.
