Marguerite Helen Decker, 92, of Burlington, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at her home. Born April 27, 1907, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Harry F. and Ella M. Pratt Goe. On Feb. 16, 1935, she married George R. Decker in Monmouth, Ill. He died April 26, 1989. Mrs. Decker was a billing clerk for Klein Manufacturing Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1969. She was a graduate of Burlington High School, was of the Catholic faith, and was an avid Cubs fan. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Stanford of Morning Sun and Sandra Siens of Bartonsville, Ill.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sons. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. The graveside committal service for Mrs Decker will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Harlin Winters officiating. A memorial has been established for Burlington Medical Center's Meals on Wheels.
