Mrs. Gladys Albaugh, 1712 S. Central Ave., died Wednesday, May 27, in Burlington Memorial Hospital.
A native of Richland, Mrs. Albaugh was born Aug. 27, 1898. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Payne Hinson. She graduated from Iowa State university in 1926. She was married to Theodore Albaugh at Richland on July 27, 1932. Mrs. Albaugh was a retired teaher; she taught at Denmark, Monmouth, Il and Oak street school in Burlington. She was a member of Grace United Methodist church and of Mary circle, Retired Teachers Assn., Inter-Faith, and Fideles Sunday school class.
Surviving; The husband; son Dr. David Albaugh, Moorstown, N.J.; brother Dr. Roy Hinson of Fairfield; sister Mrs. Dorothy Boelter of Elmhurst, IL and four grandchildren.
Funeral: Grace church at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Rev Henry Hackman, Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will be taken from Sheagren funeral home to the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday. A memorial has been established at the church.
