Bernard J. "Bubby" Wagner, 46, of 317 Ramsey, died about 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept., 16, while hunting at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant Middletown. Born Jan. 3, 1932, in West Burlington, He was the son of William J. and Frances Long Wagner. He married Joyce Mehaffy May 15, 1954, in West Burlington. He was a materials checker at that IAAP, and a member of St. Mary Catholic church, and conservation club. Surviving: The wife; two sons, Michael, West Burlington. and Terry, at home; two daughters, Nancy Davis, Burlington, and Carol, at home; a grandson; his mother, Burlington; brother, Kenneth, West Burlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary Catholic church, Rev. Louis Mulligan; Aspen Grove cemetery. Rosary, 7:30 Tuesday, Lunning Chapel.
