Howard Henry Adolphson, 65, of 1520 Smith, died at 9:45 p.m. Wed, May 30 in Elm View Care Center after an extended illness.
He was a WWII army veteran and was employed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant for 22 years before illness forced his retirement. He was a Methodist and member of the VFW, American Legion, the Eagles, and had served with the local National Guard Unit.
Surviving; Four brothers, Herbert, St. Peter, MN, Raymond, Lake Wood, CO, Robert and Richard both of Burlington.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Dr. Raymond Reed; Aspen Grove cemetery.
