Raymond Adolphson, 85, of Loveland, CO, formerly of Lakewood, CO died Monday March 6, 1995 at his home.
Born Aug 9, 1909, in Joliet, IL he was the son of Victor and Irene Stroh Adolphson. On Aug 14, 1954, he married Lorraine Harriett Green in Scottsbluff, NE.
Mr. Adolphson was a graduate of Burlington High School and attended Iowa State University in Ames. He was a civil engineer with the U.S> Forestry Service. He had lived in Lakewood, CO. for 23 years before moving to Loveland in June 1994.
He was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was very active in the National Society of Professional Engineers of Colorado. He enjoyed photography.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Adolpson of Denver, CO and John Adolphson of Rochester, MN; one daughter, Jan Adolphson of Fort Collins, CO; two grandchildren; three brothers, Herbert Adolphson of Plymouth, MN and Robert and Richard Adolphson, both of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Mr Adolphson will be cremated. Burial of the cremains will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date,
