Eva May Danielson, 97, of Burlington died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at her home. Born Nov. 29, 1905, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Charles Frederick (Darius) and Sara Elizabeth Losh Berrier. On April 8, 1936, she married Clarence R. Danielson in Des Moines County. He died Jan. 2, 1962. on Dec. 24, 1963, she married Raymond E. Danielson in Burlington. He died in June 1983. Mrs. Danielson was a homemaker and a registered nurse. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Mercy Hospital Alumni Association. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. Survivors include on daughter, Linda Kay Martinez of San Francisco; two sons, John E. Danielson of Burlington and Roswell Danielson of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. The funeral for Mrs. Danielson will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Forrest Krummel officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for a nursing scholarship.
