Mrs. Irene D. Adolphson, 82, 1520 Smith, died at 8 p.m. Wed Dec 6, at Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb 28, 1890, in Deer Lodge, Mont; the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Stroh. She married Victor A. Adolphson on Nov 24, 1908, in Burlington. She was a member of the First Methodist church, Navy Mothers No. 4, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auciliary No 52, Chapter 545 Order of Eastern Star, De Molay Mothers, and VFW 2449 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving: The husband; five sons, Raymond, Lakewood Co; Herbert, St. Peter, MN, Howard, Robert and Richard all of Burlington; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev LeRoy Moore; Aspen Grove cemetery.
