Obituary
Marilyn P Kelly entered this world on 12/12/24
Joining her mother, father and sisters four.
Life was not easy for Marilyn P,
For her momma died when she was just 3 plus 3
Her father abandoned her after his wife died
Leaving her with no one as she sat and cried
After that she was placed in home to home
To cook and clean and never be known
She had little food, few clothes, and no toys
Her life was so sad, yet she still found such joy.
At 17, she met the love of her life
2 weeks later she became Bill Dailey's wife.
Patrick Francis was their first born
With a mother child bond that cannot be torn.
Dennis Deane was the next in line
Both his parents thought he was mighty fine
Timothy Lee was son number 3
Timothy was as cool as cool could be
Terrance Colin is son number 4
The one in which Bill truly adored
And last but not least is Esta Irene
Their girl at last, their little queen.
5 children in all in 7 1/2 years
Brought lots of laughter and plenty of tears
An auto accident with son number three
Resulted in the death of Timothy Lee.
Strong as she was, she was broken and shattered
But still took care of the things that mattered
She took care of her kids, her husband and house
All while grieving quiet as a mouse.
Better days ahead, she loved and she lived
She laughed, she giggled and made sure to give
Her cooking, her baking, her laughter our gift
Her strong spirit gave our hearts a huge lift.
2002 was not a good year
It was the year she had to face her fear
The fear of losing the love of her life
The fear of no longer being Bill Dailey's wife
Away he passed one August day
Alone and lonely she moved away
Arkansas bound she decided to head
For there she had friends with which to break bread
This woman, this mother, this person we love
Is now shining on us as an angel above
11/6/15 she was just breath away
But now she sees him at the gateway
She places her arms around the love of her life
For in death as in life, she is once again.....Bill Dailey's wife.
She is survived by sons Patrick (wife Cherrie), Dennis, Terry (wife Patsy) and daughter Esta Thomson (husband Carl) as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service and interment for Mrs. Dailey will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12th in Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. David Mixon officiating.
