Doris L. Dahl, 85, of Burlington died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Prairie Ridge Care and Rehab. in Mediapolis. Born July 30, 1920, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Frank and Pearl E. Eccles Luetkehans. On March 26, 1942, she married Robert Dahl Sr. in Kahoka, Missouri. He died June 25, 1976. Mrs. Dahl was a homemaker. She was a member of Unitarian Universalist Church, the Historical Society and Democrat Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing the piano, crafts, home projects, painting and had an interest in old homes. Survivors include two sone, Robert Dahl and John Michael Dahl, both of Burlington; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Ketchum of Columbus, Ohio and Lafon Worth of Dayton, Ohio; nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she waa preceded in death by her parents.
