Obituary
Neva Rosetta Miller Custard, 98, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away December 23, 2006. She was born April 11, 1908, in Redfield, IA. She was the daughter of Edward M. and Cynthia June Burden Miller. Mrs. Custard resided in Nevada for 22 years. Neva was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love was unconditional. Her thoughtfulness was endless; there was never any self-involvement. Neva's life focus was the welfare of her beloved family, even during her final stage. She was a woman content sharing an ice cream cone or bowl of popcorn while watching a TV show, or a dinner out with friends or family, and perhaps a few pulls on her favorite slot machine. Neva was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Custard. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Goudey and Junanne (Floyd) Wagoner; sister, Opal Rudabolt; grandchildren, Jeff Goudey, Becky Liefer, Linda Nadeau, and Tim Taeger; and great-grandchildren, Raina Dragonas, Heidi and Justin Glasgow, Sara and Philip Nadeau, Matthew Liefer, and Samantha Taeger. Graveside services to be announced.
