John K. Zimmerman, Corpus Christi, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 22, at Veterans Hospital, Iowa City. He was born Aug. 3, 1922, at Bakersfield, Calif., the son of Mark Zimmerman and Irma Zimmerman Crume. He worked at John Mansville Co., Corpus Christi, and was a member of the Elks club there and at Ft. Madison, and of the Methodist church. Surviving: His mother, Burlington; a brother Charles, Ft. Madison; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral: Committal services at Aspen Grove, Monday at 10 a.m.; Rev. Laurence Garrett officiating. A memorial has been established to the Grace United Methodist church. Sheagren funeral home is in charge.
