Margaret J. Cross, 80, of St. Louis County, Mo., formerly of Burlington, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, in St. Louis. Born June 27, 1919, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Roy and Edna Fischer Bradfield. Mrs. Cross was a member and organizer in the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union during World War II, and was co-owner with Marie Coyle of the Fine Feathers Gift Shop in Clayton, Mo. Survivors include one son, Greg Cross; two daughters, Shelly Hopkins and Jennifer Ates; one grandchild; one sister; and one aunt. (CORRECTION SHOWS - survived by three sisters, Doris Westerbeck, Audrey Doan and Jacqueline Nolte, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister.) The graveside service for Mrs. Cross will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
