W. Rollie Adams, 84, of Belmar Ave., passed away Wednesday, September 18, 1996, in the Darlington House. He was an operation supervisor for the City of Toledo, Dept. of Water Reclamation, and retired in 1976. Rollie was active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years, he was an Eagle Scout and was awarded the silver beaver, he was a member of Lotus Lodge and Augsburg Lutheran Church. He also was a foster parent through the Child and family Agency. Surviving are his wife, Sara; son, Jim (Penni) Adams of Toledo; daughter, Linda (Joe) Geno of Burlington, IA; grandchildren, Jim and Becky of Arizona, and Joey and Laurie of Iowa; and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy McElwee and Virginia Strayer. Friends may visit the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family requests tributes to the Darlington House.
