Gertrude Dorothea Cronk, 83, of Farmington died at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
Born Jan. 15, 1928, in Quincy, Ill., she was the daughter of Daniel and Marie Cronk.
Miss Cronk was a member of the former Nazarene Church of Farmington, attended Anson Community Church and was currently attending Amazing Grace Bible Church near Kahoka, Mo.
She was a member of the Pioneer Historical Society, Homemaking Club, Farmington Bible Study Club, Pastoral Fellowship and the Care Review Committee for the Donnellson Care Center. She participated in the Senior Citizens Reading Program at Harmony Middle School, meals and monthly bus trips.
Survivors include several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington, where the family will receive friends.
The graveside funeral for Miss Cronk will be at noon Friday in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, with the Rev. Mike Shea officiating.
A memorial has been established.
