Bob Creighton , 83, of Burlington, died at 3:08 PM Monday, September 14, 2015, at his home in Burlington.
Born September 25, 1931, in Oakville, he was the son of Keith Edward and Wilda Melissa Torbert Creighton. On December 17, 1950, he married Joan Martha Peterson in Bethany Lutheran Church in Burlington.
Bob worked for 30 years as an electrician for IBEW.
He was a 1949 graduate of Burlington High School.
He enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling, and making duck calls.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; three sons, Mike (Kim) Creighton of Orlando, FL, Mark (Mary) Creighton of Pittsburgh, PA, and Scott (Jan) Creighton of Burlington; four grandchildren; Krista, Kasey, Tad, and Mitch; and one great-grandchild, Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sons.
The funeral service for Mr. Creighton will be 10:30 AM Friday, September 18, 2015, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home, 3940 Division St with Pastor Ralph Andersen officiating.
A memorial has been established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh-Thielen Crematory following the service.
Interment will be in Aspen Grove at a later date.
