Dale W. (Mickey) Adams, 61, of 2006 Mt. Pleasant, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, July 30 at Burlington Medical Center.
he was born Feb 8, 1921, at Davenport, to Earl and Bertha Haifley Adams. He married Suzanne Renninger April 24, 1955, at Oquawka, IL.
Mr. Adams was a real estate broker and served on the Burlington police force in the late 1940s. He was a Navy veteran of WW11. He was the manager of the Burlington Elks Club and a member of BPOE 84, Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, and Bethany Lutheran Church.
Surviving: his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Toni Eastin and Mrs. Melanie Underwood, both of Burlington, Mrs. Dayle Coleman and Mrs. Kandi Hills both of West Burlington. Mrs. Sandy Zimmerman, San Diego, Ca., three sons, Michael, at home, Stephen Bloomington, IL Larry, Old Bridge, N.J. one sister, Mrs. Betty Gleason, Grand Island, Neb. 12 grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday Prugh's Chapel, Dr. Robert Buhr; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Bethany Lutheran Church.
