Marvin Dean Corman, 55, of Burlington, formerly of Muscatine, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at his home. Born July 25, 1944, in Burlington, he was the son of Fred Earl and Maxine Robins Corman. Mr. Corman worked as a fork truck operator at General Electric, and also was a truck driver. Survivors include two sons, Jeff Corman of Davenport and Joseph Eric Corman of Muscatin; two daughters, Lisa Ann Miller and Deirdra Lynn Hunt, both of Muscatine; four grandchildren; his mother of Burlington; five brothers, Joseph Corman of Siloam Springs, Ark., Bob and Gerald Corman, both of Mount Sterling, Mike Corman of Burlington, and Randy Corman of Fort Madison; two sisters, Carolyn Bliss of West Burlington, and Pam McGaw of Dallas City, Ill.; and his companion, Maria Kay of Burlington. He was preceded in death by one son, his father, and his grandparents. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation. The funeral for Mr. Corman will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. David Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
