Miracle Renee Stevenson Cooper, 2 days, of Burlington, died at 11:11 pm Monday, July 9, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Born July 7, 2012, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Rockele Carlene Cooper and Micah and Amanda Stevenson. Miracle was a fighter and overcame obstacles even the Doctors did not think she could overcome in the short time she spent on this earth. Survivors include her mother, Rockele Carlene Cooper of Burlington; her parents, Micah and Amanda Stevenson of Ames, IA; two brothers, Deleon Fox and Delonte Fox, both at home; her maternal grandmother, Helena Cooper of Chicago, IL; and one aunt, Carmeisha Pickens of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandpa, Frank Cooper. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012 at Thielen Funeral Home. The funeral service for Miracle will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012, at Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Hess officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
