Obituary

Earl Henry Adair, 78, 613 Washington, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec 15, in the St Francis Continuation Care Center in Burlington after a long illness.
He was born March 16, 1893, in Biggsville, Il, the son of Henry and Agnes Jane Gibb Adair. He married Anna Packard Perdue in Biggsville, May 6, 1914. She died Feb. 14, 1969.
Mr. Adair was a retired city bus driver. He was of the Presbyterian faith, a member of Eagles and the bus drivers' local union.
Surviving: One son, LaVerne, of Burlington; two grandsons; one great-grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Bess Rankin, Galesburg, Il, Mrs. Edith White, Media, Il and Mrs. Hazel Stotts, Little York, Il; two brothers, William, Stronghurst, Il and Chester, Oquawka, Il and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Monday 2 p.m., Prugh's chapel, Burlington, Rev. Gary L. Burnett; Aspen Grove cemetery/
