Obituary
Samuel Acaley, 70, a former resident of Burlington and a resident of Galesburg for the past two years, died Saturday in St Mary hospital, Galesburg.
He was a retired CB&Q railroad machinist.
Acaley was born May 21, 1890. at Forreston, Il and was married to Genevieve Folkland at West Burlington on June 6, 1923. She died Aug 15, 1958. A veteran of the First World War, Acaley was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and the VFW.
Surviving is a son, Glenn Acaley, New Orleans; a granddaughter and a niece.
Last rites will be conducted at the Wallen Chapel at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
