Mr. August John Bosch, 79 of 405 Wheeler West Burlington died at Mercy hospital at 3 am, Thursday. He had been a patient three weeks.
He was born July 30. 1886, in West Burlington. the son of August A. and Bertha Sackbauer Bosch in 1908 he married Helen Bloom, she died 1912. He later married Ella S. Shultz, she died in 1938. He as a retired Murray Iron Works Machinist and was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Eagles and the Machinist Union.
Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Whaley, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Scholes, West Burlington, Mrs. Glen Cray, Burlington; two brothers, Clarence Bosch, Costa Mesa. Calif. Herbert Bcsch, San Francisco. Calif; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren: and three nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday from Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Earl Meissner officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
