Emma Christine Bopp, 88, died at 15 p.m. Friday at her home 216 Sweeny.
She was born in Burlington May 5, 1873, to Henry and Julia Scheihing Wolkenhauer. She was married Dec. 7, 1906, to John R. Bopp who died in 1947 at Bozeman, Mont. She was of Evangelical faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. G. J. Rieckhoff, Mrs. Irene Thrasher and Mrs. Edward Whitham, all of Burlington; two brothers: Charles Wolkenhauer of St. Louis, and Henry Wolkenhauer of Burlington; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Two sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Prugh's chapel, Rev. G. A. Saathoff officiating.
Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
