At 5 o’clock yesterday morning Mr. Peter Bonn, a well-known young man of this place, died of typhoid fever. Only a short time ago his wife was laid in the grave and now by this sad event, the little daughter is without a father or mother. Mr. Bonn was the eldest son of Mr. Jacob Bonn and in company with his brothers has been engaged in various lines of business for a number of years. Latterly they established the Prospect Hours, on South Main Street, to which Mr. Bonn was giving his attention when stricken down by the disease. He was born in Burlington and was 31 years old and a member of the Burlington Shooting Club and the Burlington Turner’s Society. The funeral will be conducted under the auspices of these bodies Friday at 2 pm.
