Obituary
Mrs. Minnie Bonn, 67, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Phil Rohleder, 1445 Cleveland Avenue Sunday evening at 6 o’clock, after ten years of illness. She had lived with the Rohleders for the past three years and prior to that made her home in West Burlington with her brother, Charles Stockman.
Minnie Stockman was born in Oquawka, Ill., and married to August Bonn, who died a number of years ago. She lived for approximately 17 years with her brother in West Burlington and helped raise her two nieces, now Mrs. Herbert Hohl of Charleston, W. Va, and Miss Myrtle Stockman, of West Burlington, who regarded her almost as a mother. She is also survived by one son, Fred of San Antonio, Tex.; three brothers, William Stockman of Burlington, Ed Stockman of Cedar Rapids, and Henry Stockman of Portland, Ore., a sister, Mrs. Harry Martelle of Butte, Mont., and one grandson, Robert Bonn of San Antonio.
The body is at Prugh’s chapel. Funeral services will be held in Prugh’s chapel, on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. Friends are invited. Interment in Aspen Grove Cemetery will be private
