Mrs. Alma Weihofen, 71, who came to Burlington 2 years ago, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Albert Klein, 1300 N. Sixth street, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 8, 1880, in Germany, but lived most of her life in Chicago. Mrs. Weihofen was married Sept. 6, 1903 in Chicago to Henry Weihofen. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are her husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. Alma Curry, Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Klein; 2 sons, Henry Weihofen, Albuquerque, N.M. and George Weihofen of Chicago; and 7 grandchildren. A daughter died in infancy. Services will be held at Burnett Wallen funeral home at a time to be announced later. Rev. Bruce Masseling will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
