Obituary

Mrs. Fannie Bona Burk died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Danville on Sept. 14, 1861, and married Gilbert Bonar who died 32 years ago., Later she married Charles Burk in Burlington, and the couple moved to Oregon about 20 years ago.
Mrs. Burk returned to Burlington 4 years ago because of ill health and made her home with a daughter, Mrs. A.L. Danielson, 608 S. Starr Avenue. Her husband is reported ill at his home in Eugene, Ore.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are 2 daughters, Mrs. Danielson of Burlington, and Mrs. James Graham, St. Onge, S.D.; 2 sons, Lester Bonar of Newberg, Ore., and Carl Bonar of Morning Sun; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Andrew Rowe of Tacoma, Wash. And Mason Rowe of Danville. One son, 2 brothers, and a sister are dead.
Services for Mrs. Fannie Bonar Burk will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Burnett Wallen Funeral Home. Rev. Elmer Blomquist will officiate. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
