Obituary
William Frederick Bohn, 1115 N. Ninth St., died at 4:45 am Wednesday in Burlington hospital, after an extended illness. He was born in Tomah, Wis., July 11, 1877, the son of Charles and Caroline Bohn, and had been a resident of Burlington for 42 years.
He was a retired boiler maker, a former employee of the Burlington railroad, a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church, and the Isaak Walton League. He married twice and both wives are dead. His first wife was the former Dorothy Gerdom, whom he married in June 1904. His second wife was the former Ida Campmeier, whom he married in November 1923.
Surviving are one son and 2 daughters, Wilbur Bohn, Rock Springs, Wyo., Dorothy and Edna Bohn at home, and 2 brothers, Charles and Frank Bohn of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held in Prugh’s chapel, Thursday at 3:30 pm Rev. JH Buescher will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
